1.SOLAR POOL HEATING: In the hectic and fast world we live in most peoples lives have changed, and the cost of an average size pool can set you back thousands of rands it is therefore necessary to use the pool as much as possible and to increase the seasons to 8 months instead of 4 months by heating the pool via Pool Panels or a Solar Heat Pump or both.

Save Money: This system will not cost you any extra money as the Solar Panels collects the heat from the sun as the Solar Panels are connected to your filter and pool pump so while your pool is getting cleaned via your pool cleaning equipment the water is pumped through to the Solar Pool Panels and back into the pool.
Warrenty: Solar Ingenuity will give you a 10 year Warranty on the Solar Pool Panels and a 1 year Warranty on the pipes and fittings.
Investment Payback: A swimming pool is an investment in lifestyle and fun for the whole family and we can double the temperature of your pool at no extra cost to the owner for more days per year and more hours per day. By saving on the cost of electric pool heating, Solar is the only pool heating system that actually pays for itself over time.

2.POOL SOLAR HEAT PUMP: If you don’t have the roof space or you live in a gated complex or you want to be in charge of your temperature in summer or winter, then this is the route to go.

Titanium Heat Exchanger: The primary cause of premature heat pump demise is the failure of the heat exchanger. Once the heat exchanger fails, the heat pump is ruined. The Titanium Heat Exchanger tube is made from pure titanium, and is virtually impervious to water chemistry damage.
Swim all year round: How often have you felt like swimming, but your pool was just to cold? Without heating the average swimming pool can only be used 4 months a year. Solar heating increases this time to around 6-8 months a year (weather dependent). But with a heat pump you can enjoy using the pool 12 months a year. With a heat pump you and your family can get the most out of your swimming pool.

EVACUATED GLASS SOLAR TUBES: The glass evacuated solar collector tubes are the key component of solar heating each tube consists of 2 glass tubes. The outer tube is made of extremely strong transparent borosilicate glass that is able to resist impact from hail up to 25mm in diameter.

The inner tube is also made of borosilicate glass, but coated with a special coating (Al-N/Al) which features excellent solar heat absorption and minimal heat reflection properties. The air is withdrawn (evacuated) from the space between the two glass tubes to form a vacuum, which eliminates conductive and convective heat loss.
Can the evacuated solar tubes work on a cloudy day?: Yes the tubes are round and the amount of solar radiation striking the collector is relatively constant from mid morning to mid afternoon. This feature maximizes the total amount of solar radiation the collector is exposed to each day, Furthermore, the sun is always striking the tubes at angle which is perpendicular to their surface thus reducing reflection and making it effective at most times.

4.SOLAR BLANKETS: In most countries throughout the world and in South Africa there are water restrictions. From now on a pool cover is no longer an option. It’s an essential part of your water savings plan. SOLAR INGENUITY has the answer.

It is very important to install a bubble cover if your pool is heated to reduce evaporation by up to 30%. A thermal blanket will eliminate this loss.

If your pool is heated with a heat pump you can cut down on your electricity bill. A bubble blanket is twice as effective at retaining heat as a pool cover, ensuring your heating does half the work saving you money.

Very little maintenance. Unlike other covers, a bubble blanket is safe to leave uncovered in the sun without voiding the warranty.

A bubble blanket blocks out sunlight. Sunlight is what assists algae growth, so blocking it out will reduce your chemical usage and maybe even filtering hours.

Get a return on your investment: with all of the above benefits, a bubble Pool Blanket will pay for itself in less than 2 years.

5.FLAT PLATE SOLAR COLLECTOR FOR SOLAR GEYERS:: The flat plate collector has been around for the last fifty five years in Europe and even in Cape Town some people have installed these units 30 to 40 years ago. The money that can be saved is up to 60% of your monthly electricity account, therefore this savings can be used to pay off your system over a period of plus minus 3 years.

The Flat Plate Solar is a very easy system to live with once installed it starts heating your water over the next 30 years providing you have used a reputable solar panel that is SABS Approved and they give you at least a 10 year warranty on the panel.

You get 3 different types of installations namely:

(a) CLOSE COUPLE SYSTEM: New Solar Panel and Geyser on the roof.
(b) RETRO FIT: Existing Geyser in ceiling and Solar Panel on the roof with a solar driven pump unless the Geyser is higher than the Panel then the thermosiphon kicks in.
(c) SPLIT SYSTEM: New EXSTREAM Solar Geyser in ceiling and Solar Panels on roof with Solar Driven Pump unless the Geyser is higher than the Panel then the thermosiphon kicks in.

6.SOLAR WATER GEYSERS: It is very difficult in this day and age to find a really excellent hot water Geyser that will stand the test of time, and after quite a considerable time I found the most perfect Solar Geyser manufactured right here in Cape Town – Paarl area, with all the bells and whistles namely Exstream Geyser.

This Geyser is corrosion free, as the inner and the outer tank is made from Derakane epoxy-vinyl ester. This product is used globally in the storage of high te perature plus li uids concentrated acids and aggressive al aline products such as caustic soda. The product has also proven it self under high pressures.
The EXSTREAM Geyser is half as heavy as a conventional Geyser; this means it is both easy to handle, easy to transport. Environmentally friendly, the tank can also be fitted with solar panels and can be custom-coloured on request..

7. GAS GEYSERS

Gas water heater uses the heat from burning a fuel (usually natural gas) to heat water, while an electric water heater uses electric resistance coils. Gas water heaters are less energy efficient than electric heaters, but the cost of electricity itself makes the running costs of an electric heater higher. Gas water heaters also have a much faster recovery rate, which makes them a convenient option

Using gas geysers has many benefits, but the most important is the cost! The cost of electricity in South Africa is now very expensive and we all need to conserve and cut costs where possible.

Water heating commercially and residentially consumes high energy costs and the focus has shifted to solar and gas applications.

These geysers are specifically designed to making access to hot water easier at an affordable cost. Gas geysers only use gas when the tap is opened for instant hot water. You will have hot water as long as there is gas in the bottle.
